The Hallicrafters SX-115 receiver is
one of those radios that has a couple of relatively difficult to change
light bulbs, i.e. the Tuning and Band Selector lamps. Thus it is a good
candidate for white LED lamp replacement.

Lamps Used:
Four
LPW-WIDEA6 for the frequency display area, Tuning and Band
Selector
illumination.
One LPW-DIFFU6
for the S-Meter.

The Central Electronics 100V
transmitter. The PTO
lamps are hard to get at and you have to be careful to avoid damaging
the dial cord. The
semi-transparent material used in the meter and PTO display areas
is a yellow colored so it remains so even with the LED
lamps. I'm not sure if this plastic was yellow at manufacture,
but I have never seen a CE-100V that wasn't this way.

Lamps Used:
Four LPW-WIDEA6 for PTO
and linear logging scale.
One LPW-FROST6 for Meter.
