My Humble Beginnings
| Here I am in 1972. This was taken one year
after getting my Novice license at the age of 13. It shows my rather
beat-up SX-101 receiver and Heathkit DX-60B transmitter. The VF-1 VFO
on top the transmitter never did work right with the DX-60B due mainly
to my early ham incompetence. |
